Living on the side of the ocean with healthcare, I’ll probably never get to see one, but I loved the Bronco(s) so much (it was one of my dream American cars, along with the Kennedy Continental, the ‘68 Riviera, and a few others) I’m ready to be disappointed come reveal time, like for the Fuji X100V and the next iPhone

Say what? They bothered making a separate gearbox for the 3? I guess it was a unit already in production for another model (the 4CV?) but still...

All true, but even the original 4 had a grille and bumpers :-)

It’s really hard to make the case that the final products looks much better than the concept. I honestly think many elements look better on the concept, starting from the C/D pillars and window, for instance.

And the Urus. And the X7. And the Cullinan. And... and... and...

I’m getting this from another article about the bike, and also about the fact that EVs like Taycan and other drop about a third of their range when driven “fun”, i.e., harder than molasses-slow-city-driving or tranquil highway coasting.

Just how long do you think it takes me to do 100-120 miles?

To be more precise: among the funnest outings I do is going from my place to my godmothers’, or a short afternoon rip around her place.

I said I was puzzled, is all.

I’ll pretend you were just trying to make a clever color-related joke (since that’s the topic of the post), and not mistaking one thing for another :-)

Technically, he was being driven in one.

Also: no add-on grille, headlight surroundings, C-pillar window, or anything resembling actual bumpers.

That face is the best in the car’s history. The latter, “modernized” rectangular grille was so at odds with the car’s shape.

welcome to Earth 2,020 years after some monk made up a date he figured was when a very popular religious figure was born!

Not really a classy reaction from Elon, tbh.

Given that those 110 miles are best-case, placid highway driving, I still don’t see the use case for a biker out on a tour. Sure I stop to pee once in a while, but it doesn’t take me 80 minutes to do it, and I do ride far more than 110 miles in a day when out and about?

When you think that a lot of these cars were sold in the countryside, that measurement unit doesn’t seem so weird anymore.

If not COTD, then Phosotshop Of The Day, at the very least.

Slow clap.

An unpractical unit for 911s, I’m afraid.
