I agree, PHEVs are definitely what I recommend to most people looking for a light-duty car or SUV. Small battery, so they’re not too heavy. If your commute is less than 30 miles, you’re probably not going to burn any gas, if you’re using it for anything more than commuting, it functions like a normal hybrid.
