I’m sure it’ll be stated in these comments 4000 times (so here’s 4001) but this has 1 too many 0's on it.

I too wondered if the reputed builder might be Jake. The one thing NOONE can say about that guy is that he doesn’t know what he’s doing!
Said not as an ass at all but.......Point was your comment was born of ignorance, as is this one. You judge without apparently experienced one truly. I had the pleasure of owning one for several years, these are BRILLIANT machines, incredibly balanced.
Umm.... you haven’t actually seen a Boxster huh?
But your maths are based upon some yahoo actually paying $159k for this thing. I’m not saying it won’t happen because yahoos w/ cash seem to spend it on strange stuff (as far as the masses are concerned) but I swim around inside a head that can make no sense of this vehicle’s history from day 1 to today.
your missing piece may be hanging out with my missing piece from 1.5 years selling insurance
it’s ALWAYS BS, the extra $2k seems to usually be either the difference between MSRP and invoice or a current rebate offer on the new version of what they want to sell you.
sweet! Ill dust off my monocle!
ummm, I hate to burst your retirement bubble (unless you were being sarcastic then good on you :-D ) but I’ve gotten 10's of those letters, dealers without customers in the showroom will go to silly lengths to try and get someone in the door.
all sellers of all automobilia please repeat after me:
What manner of “not living right” am I doing that in 30 years of automotive obsession and bad decisions I have never stumbled upon these mysterious <$1k deals I read about so often?
There is, and it’s the dude selling the 5 of them, and then he was gone.....
Nope Nope Nope.... at half that sure, you could fix the nose and pray to the Ferrari gods it’s not got a mountain of other issues causing it to sit still. This poor thing has been abused.
Seriously, look at this.....
You know... if I didn’t know better I’d start questioning some of the provenance of this particular car. The seats look recovered in places, there’s scratches in places you wouldn’t expect for a car with 500 miles (that surely must have sat still for the last 20 years).
Came here to say this ^
NP if only because it’s been properly cleaned!
Completely agree with your rant! It’s inexplicable to me that someone won’t at least give a cursory cleaning (let alone the MUCH preferred V-Stripes and utter sparkly-ness) to something they want to sell. I do this and much more and still give it away.....
Anything but the Blue with Blue interior..... I thought regularly about adding the red/black interior to my Sebring Silver. My brother-in-law had one in Yellow that I’d happily enjoy (but no red interior in that one!)
I forgot to say.... I’m sorry that you are wrong about Silver :-D
