I’m sorry everyone seems to be missing your very reasonable point, Jason. I think the key to understanding the issue lies within this statement:

I could watch, or not watch, Christopher Guest movies for hours. And still find a reason to watch them.

My son has a variety of colors of the same cup, one of them pink. I knew I was doing something right when he was drinking out of the cup and a guy at the park walked up and said “you should give that back to your sister.” He looked up at the guy and answered “pink is a cool color. I liked her before (esp after seeing her in 6 Feet Under) but now I think I love her.

Why do I do these things

Semi-counterpoint, while as an adult I agree that Cats is dreadful, as a little kid, seeing Cats and The Phantom of the Opera was awesome and sparked an interest in theatre and the arts. And oftentimes in smaller cities these shows are the only type of musical theatre that they get.

Sometimes

ooooo, good to know! I used to get mine at H&M in the basics section, but I haven’t been able to find the ones I like there anymore. I’m kind of freaking out about it, because mine are getting too stretched out and I haven’t been able to replace them in some time.
