Not sure if you got the answer you were looking for, so ...

Yes.

In basic terms (because I don’t know you, so I’m making my explanation as understandable as I know how), the camera is always on, but it’s recording on what appears to be a 10 minute loop. So at any point in time, there’s 10 minutes of footage recorded

I mean ...that’s the real measure, right? I honestly don’t care if fatalities are down to one hundred - if all we flew that year was a single airplane with 100 people aboard. I want to know the pct of total airline passengers who were killed as a result of a crash.

Oh, it’s “one fatal accident for every 16 million

I wonder if Tesla took out the necessary payroll tax on that from their checks, or at least bothered to tell them that it’s considered income and they will need to pay tax on it. But they probably didn’t bother. I foresee many IRA audits in the future of Tesla employees!

“What will we tell our young boys when they see this?”

So Momoa hitched his wagon to the Haka years ago, right? That was a big part of his audition for Drogo on Game of Thrones. Hell, it might have been all he did. (Is Momoa guilty of cultural appropriation? He’s full-on Hawaiian, not Kiwi/Maori/NZ anything.)

Then a decade later (about 10 yrs after the GoT audition) he

Of course AFTER I posted this, I saw that you essentially said exactly that at least 2-3 times in earlier responses to others. Sometimes me no Kinja good.

Okay, on with your life. I’ve taken up enough of it!

I want to add to what you’re saying. Feel free to agree, disagree, rebut, et cetera, et cetera ...

I’m headed to the show on Thursday. So far there are exactly zero big reveals planned, but we do get Adam Carolla (Thursday!) and a craft beer tasting (on the final Friday of the show).

Why do I keep going to this?

My big question:

Buddy and I were talking about the 125cc Grom the other day. Then there was an ad for the Coleman mini bike. It's 200cc, it's $500, and it's exactly as road legal as the Cub.

I gotta argue one point (nope, it’s gonna be two points, just go with it for now).

(1) The French 75% tax rate was leveled against those making about $775k per year. So stating that the “millionaire supertax has been tried before” isn’t totally accurate. AOC is suggesting 70% at $10M. There’s a huge gap between $775k

Dammit. I got excited because I could use a new cold weather coat, but it's 50% off of the CLEARANCE section, not the SALE section. Dang it.

That you for getting that stuck in my head forever. Again.

The system is down. (There, you’re welcome.)

SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT.

Honestly, I bought the Batman t-shirt like two months ago when I stumbled across it at the local Target. I just ordered the bobblehead this afternoon. Looking forward to an excellent Halloween.

(I considered getting one of those inflatable dino costumes that makes it look like you’re riding around

Drew, I’m late to the party and I apologize. Rather than spending my days reading through Deadspin and its sibling sites as I once did, I’m not out of a job (four week, one day, and counting!) and I tend to now spend a lot of my time looking for a job. Believe you me, if I could stay retired at the ripe old age of

I want to throw something out there and see how it plays. If it pisses a bunch of people off - I’ll say I was wrong and take the deserved beating, because that’s not what I’m trying to do. If someone gets something useful out of it - I’ll have done a small service for the greater good.

I missed the original question, but I have to share mine. It’s not an amazing story by any means, but it hits me right in the gut every time I think about it and I’m hoping it’s cathartic to talk through it.

In the very late 90's - maybe even 2000, my grandparents were moving out of their house in Cleveland and into a
