This isn’t the first time they’ve idled the plant - I believe it was closed 2005-2007 when they were switching over from Neon to the Caliber/Compass. Maybe this time it’ll actually kill the town.

I can’t think of a more fitting end for that place.

This.

Yes, all the industry shows are down (with regards to attendance), but my god is Detroit awful. I was lucky enough to attend Chicago for 10 out of the last 12 years (something like that, don’t make me count to be certain) as a member of the media. I attended Detroit once. That’s all it took for me to say that I

I did this. I coached 14U boys lacrosse the last two seasons. It was awesome. I didn’t volunteer as head coach, but I was the assistant coach, defensive coach, and stick doctor both years. I initially got the job because a friend was going to coach, but he’s a somewhat quiet dude and needed someone to help get play

It’ll be visible in/near the constellation Ophiuchus in the southwest sky. Look 30-40° up from the horizon. It’s going to be hard to see, but that's where it'll be.

Tom, thanks for the response! I’m aware that the S/V90 won’t be fast. As much as I like fast, I’m being (sadly) realistic about need vs want and how I’m ranking attributes. At this point, I think comfort/luxury is going to trump raw speed/power. I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it’s where I find myself leaning

I need this to not be the case. I’m currently shopping for a third car (my kids are about to inherit my 2014 Jetta Sportwagen) and this is at the absolute top of my list. It is, approximately, triple my ideal budget. But I so, so want. I had a 2008 S6 that I absolutely loved and this is the marriage of that and the

I’m sure they’ll charge her with it, and/or the guy she was with if they arrested him.

This is literally the plot of Death Race (2008), isn’t it?

And when she finally is sentenced, it’s likely that she’ll serve a year or so in a minimum security facility.

My son plays lacrosse and this spring and summer we’ll have a few out-of-state tournaments to get to. TDI Jetta wagon + cargo carrier to the rescue. I can fit myself, my son, and two of his teammates plus all of their gear (d-poles and goalie sticks, helmets, cleats, pads, etc) and their suitcases for a full weekend.

So ... Chicago-area, TDI SportWagen gtg? Bonus points if I’ve already owned a V10 S6 (IL plates: SLOW V10)?

I mean ...it’s all the basics, isn’t it (as evidenced by most of the conversations here)?

- wheels/tires
- stereo
- internal window treatment (tint)
- external window treatment (Rain-X, etc)
- exterior lighting
- brakes
- ECU/TCU tune
- rear sway (okay, that’s my addition to the list)

LOL!

Small towns in Ogle?

Farming town in Northern IL with corn and soybeans?

As a fellow sucker for enthusiast of German vehicles (esp those from the VW/Audi family) I had to take a shot at this. I could have gone through all of your old articles, but dammit I’m lazy. Instead, I did some stupid guy estimating and ...

3,875,000

That’s making a few estimates about each vehicle (I wish I hadn’t)

How he gets away with blatant stock manipulation is crazy. Only the rich area allowed to do it I guess.

I’m pretty sure my sorta-old (old enough that the company is bankrupt and they don’t sell these anymore) 19.2V Craftsman ratchet is all pass-throughs. And the fact that I’m not 100% certain tells you exactly how long it’s been since I needed to bust them out for any reason at all. :(

(I’m 6'3")

Just ...no.
