96 Viper GTS has none of those things and the car has over 400 rwhp and 500 lbft of torque...only one I wish it had is ABS; when driving on the street, it’s the only one of the three that I might have to use. Don’t drive like a turdbuger and there’s no need for traction or stability control.

I think the Gen III and IV hoods are not very expensive, though I don't know how much they run, exactly. Even the Gen I and II hoods can be found for 4-5k now, when they used to be something like 20k.

Gen I, II, and V cars have the clamshell hood. Gen III (such as this example) and IV cars have a "normal" hood.

Little late for an April Fool’s gag, isn’t it Mr Lyons?

I disagree. Also, the electric motor has been around for about 250 years. The electric car predates the ICE car. The future is in combining the two and taking advantage of the strengths of both...as Ferrari and Porsche have done.

Not really. Hard to compare a 2nd car to an awd car, regardless of powertrain. It'd be more apropos to compare a similarly priced awd ICE car to the Tesla.

Not much. The trap speeds tell the story, the Tesla scoots mostly because it can launch like a bat out of hell, the hellcat because it makes stupid power.

Amen!

Long Beach is, by far, my favorite airport in the LA area.

O’Hare is not #1? This list is invalid.

RS3 Avant? Please take my money, Audi!

try again...

So, you could say Chevy's points have been recalled?

O’Hare, O’Hare, O’Hare. Hate that airport and avoid it at all costs.

That's what it seemed like to me as well. There appeared to be some damage just in front of the wheel well, it's entirely possible the center lock lug was damaged in the process.

Using soapy water is a commonly used method for detecting leaks in industry. Watched the exact test yesterday.

The dinosaur know as Brontosaurus is a misnomer. Decades ago it was agreed that specimens identified as Brontosaurus were, in fact, examples of the previously named Apatosaurus. Thus, the Apatosaurus was believed to drive a Frontier.

VERY little star. Poor guy can’t even blame it on the weather, it was in the middle of the summer!

Yes!
