It’s honestly weird to me how people here can easily accept than 3-series buyers can be douchebags who are just in it for the badge, but can’t for a second fathom the same thing happening amongst Cayman/Boxster owners (or lessees).

You’re wasting your breath. Dude has no idea what he’s talking about.
Because they’re talking about track cars, and for many people going as fast as possible on the track is, in fact, fun. It has nothing to do with proving anything to anyone else.
Anyone who thinks the 650S is somehow the “obvious” choice over the RS is just not right in the head.
I’d wager that most, if not all, potential GT3 RS customers have already had one or more base 911 Carreras already.

Vents! Trim! Accents! More everything! 11/10 fuck yea!
You give the general public way to much credit
The GTS holds it value better then the S because you’re getting a lot of expensive options for a lot less money. If you can spring for the GTS, I’d get that instead.
Agreed. It should have been closer to #27.
You should read the GTE regulations. I'm not entirely convinced you have any idea about what you're saying.
The 991 RSR is based on the Carrera 4 and its mandated they do so by the GTE regulations. Porsche haven’t built a silhouette car since the 935. Not sure what you’re talking about.
Apparently you’ve never built a car that can race in any of the above mentioned series. Its a turn key race car that needs only decals and a bag of meat between the steering wheel and the seat. Not CP at all.
AM still have some pretty hardcore buyers, like with Porsche and BMW and the Miata(of course), that will buy a manual car if they are given the option. For them it is not about lap times or how fast it will be shifted, but about THE shifting and driving experience. With every passing year they are getting less, but…
I've spun the MR-2 doing 30. Squirelly things.
Shut. Your. Whore. Mouth.
I find it less tiring since you can do easily pop it in neutral and literally do nothing when stopped. I’ve DDed both and I will take the manual even in heavy traffic.
It’s not the car owner showing off it’s the restaurant owner showing off that he has high roller clientele.
And now a word from the International Pancake Association: Fük waffles
You’re being way too pragmatic.
