I find it pretty hard to actually heel toe unless I am on the track. I usually use the side of my foot in daily use because I have more control modulating the brake. If I am on the track though and I am threshold braking(like I should), THEN I really mash the ball of my foot into the brake and it doesn’t really matter

Ferrari, Aston Martin, Mercedes Benz, and even Dodge all have considerable experience making high-performance, front-engine machines. Considering a Viper is a considerably faster car in practice than the C7 ZR1, slotting right in between the 991.2 GT3 RS and GT2RS and being easier to drive than the outgoing Corvette

Agreed.

“bad CGI”

Are you maybe confusing it with a 488? Because other than some dummies who only seem to enjoy big cammed pushrod V8s and hate on everything else, I literally can’t think of a single instance of hearing someone say they don’t like the sound of a 458, or any high strung Ferrari NA V8, for that matter.

The whole point of removing the AWD is to make the RWS more of a driver’s car.

Nope. You may have missed it, but they came out with this fancy new tech a little over 20 years ago that lets you shift manually and control gears even on cars with automatic transmissions.

If I could spend 1.3 million on a car and paid Ferrari to maintain and ship it all over the world for me to drive I’d probably be able to afford have a pretty good coach. Remember, smoother is faster. The guys that make it look easy are normally a lot faster than you think.

Being faster doesn’t mean you’re driving it harder. You’re making the argument that PDK is faster and you’re right. PDK doesn’t allow you to brake later though or get on the gas quicker. It simply makes shifting faster. Left-foot braking is a thing I guess you could play with if you wanted to.

I love that they brought back the child-like decals on the side. All boy-racer Porsches should have them.

The only thing a stock Porsche braking system needs to be competent all day long at a track is a flush with Motul 600. The stock pads, rotors and ducting are more than capable (and I’m including non-S cars).

This is actually an interesting question. If this were the football or baseball HoF, I’d say clearly not, but basketball tends to be a much more open hall.

People are keeping stats on the new GT3 deliveries. Overall take rate right now for North America is 45% manual. Americans are dragging down the average. Canadian take rate is 53% manual.

Mmm hmm. I know we hang off Preuninger’s every word, but he has proven to be a master troll about this kind of stuff.

I know this sounds bad, but I don’t care...

The current Corvette is so good, I’m still not convinced there will be an appreciable increase in performace by putting the engine behind the driver. It won’t be worse either, but the whole thing strikes me as a gimmick.

I love taking cars places they don’t belong. Mustangs in the mud, 2wd trucks off road, small hatchbacks to the lumberyard... There’s something very satisfying in showing off how capable your car or your driving skills really are. (Besides, if you fail or get stuck or whatever, it wasn’t really meant to be there

For me, the 1973 RSR makes a sound that can’t be beat. I had a customer with a very nice replica, with headers flowing into a giant empty can, then out through a pair of 3" pipes. It shook the building as he idled off the lot. Beautiful. It sounded more like a full on drag car than any Porsche I’d ever heard.

I was with you until the end. Fuck Rajon Rondo.

Meh, LeBron just beat a team significantly better than one Jordan ever beat, while dominating every aspect of the game and leading in most stats. Maybe that should factor into the comparison.
