I skipped alot of those cars for my GT3RS because I knew it would hold up and I live in the downtown of a city with limited garage space. At least you’re initiated. This is the piece that doesn’t get told in the specs. Everyone gets defensive over specs as they are with this GS but as you know not every car can

No you said

in the right hands yes and if you can’t understand that then as I keep saying YOU will be embarrased. Listen carefully, a car being fast around a track has to have

I’ve seen more 918 at the track than I’ve seen new corvettes so

Where was the performance quoted?? From what I see you have a 500hp porsche that’s lighter going up against a 460hp corvette. If the current z06 is barely faster than a gt3rs how can a slower car be faster??

Better for the street yes. For the track think again. Not saying that it won’t put a blazing lap down, but I am saying FROM EXPERIENCE that it can’t consistently do that. All those cars come off track in the summer to cool off while the GT3's cayman, 911, mustangs, vipers continue on. Hell even the N/A Ferraris go

you saying the 911R isn’t performance?? The one thing about a Porsche track car is I know its the real deal not a poser mobile. Hell I drive my RS on the street but when it’s time to hit the track at least I know my car can handle it while all the N/A Ferraris and corvettes z06 are coming off track to cool off.

They are only 200 to replace so I just bought an extra one

I can do more than explain it. I can show you with gigs of hd gopro footage on track. Stop thinking that a manual transmission somehow automatically makes you slower. Especially when it comes to the track. There are way more factors at play (how good the driver is, how the car is setup, overall weight) then 0-60 and

if you think all you need is a pdk/dct to “beat them” on a track day then you’re going to get your feelings hurt when you come in last.

I see this all the time at the track even when its dry out. People always want to go balls out from pit. This is why I now try to start at the back so all the idiots who don’t want to warm up their tires can slide into someone else and the problem is compounded when it’s raining.

I disagree. I’ll tell you from experience that I wouldn’t get a turbo car for track duty and I love turbo cars. Maybe if all I did was 15-20 minute hpde sessions or Autocross or purely street (will probably end up getting a turbo for the street) but anything more than that and the others who’ve express this though is

also don’t forget that options matter

you are correct

Now playing

This is not true. Maybe journalist do. Porsche actually quotes it wet with ALL fluids. For instance, this

you’d be surprised. It really depends on who’s coordinating the event. I got black flagged twice for controlled drifting in the rain at the track. The same track that I learned to drift at during other events.

in your haste to write me off as a fanboy you didn’t get my message. I’ll clarify. That beetle only looks close in color and because of your bullshit edit that’s purposely slopeing the back to try and make it look closer(why can’t you let it stand on its own without edits since it’s the same??). I’m saying your

I disagree the 997 looks like a bigger 993.

Still wrong. That looks more like an audi TT. IF anything you could say a 350z is similar looking to a 911 but a beetle just means your eye sight is fucked.
