A GT2 is more GT3 with a turbo.
A GT2 is more GT3 with a turbo.
It’s simple For the previous models. The turbo/s and GT3/GT2 use the same mezger engine. GT2 just adds turbo’s and rear wheel drive only.
What he said was not correct. For the previous models. The turbo/s and GT3/GT2 use the same mezger engine. GT2 just adds turbo’s and rear wheel drive only.

My GT3RS with a mezger racing engine specifically says use https://mobiloil.com/en/motor-oils/…. I don’t know if I would want to be caught with warranty using something that met specs.
wow....I run this https://mobiloil.com/en/motor-oils/… in a GT3 RS at the track running at 8k+ all summer long. IT’s actually the recommended oil from Porsche for a mezger racing engine. So I can’t see how any car that you would have be a problem for this.
interesting... All I use is https://mobiloil.com/en/motor-oils/…
and two strings helped to balance it better.
you’d be surpised at this as well.. I know this from working at a bar where we’d take cash all day hand it into the bank and then sit back and wait to find out how much of that money was valid.
Plus it lets you focus on hitting the apex or braking points more without worrying when to shift.
that’s NOT how you do it
WOW
The advantage is more rear traction. BECAUSE there is more weight to the back you get better balance under braking. More of your rear tires are used to brake the car because the engine pushes down on the rear contact patches more. It also helps you get more usable power out of your engine (power to da ground) I have a…
especially because they are wrong...
I have a 2011 GT3RS with short gears...but I have a 8500 redline.. I can run the rpm’s up to 8500 I can say leave it in 3rd and go from corner to corner just running deep into the rpm and not having to shift. No shifting means no DCT shifting advantage or a DCT can’t shift faster than no shift. Again, no shifting no…
I’m so sick of people trotting out this “lower polar moment” bullshit to make the mid-engine seem superior. First off the engine in a 911 isn’t THAT much far off from a mid-engine. You mid-engine guys talk as if it’s the difference between a front-engine and mid-engine. Secondly “lower polar moment” is all bullshit…
I do strongly
I deally you’d be wrong..... I’m so sick of people trotting out this “lower polar moment” bullshit to make the mid-engine seem superior. Doesn’t matter.... A GT3 is a homologation car meant to bend to FIA rules on things like for instance horsepower. Anyone who says that a GT3 is suppose to be the fastest thing out there is just flat out wrong...It’s intent is the be a drivers car.
