a GT3RS is a drivers car. It’s meant to give you the connection NOT be the absolute fastest. I wish people would stop saying this because it’s absolutely wrong. A GT3 is homologation car which means it HAS to fit into a FIA category racing rule which states all the things that could be placed in it like for instance

BUT there is a difference for high rpm cars with broad torque bands. Which is likely why it will give up that advantage gained from the burst. Given that same 4500 corner exit I will ALREADY be in optimal powerband (short gearing) to power up to that 8500 redline to the next corner. This is all negated on a corner

That’s awesome man! Good luck.. I hope it all works out for you.

That may be true for equivalent machines...I have a 2011 GT3RS with short gears...but I have a 8500 redline.. I can run the rpm’s up to 8500 I can say leave it in 3rd and go from corner to corner just running deep into the rpm and not having to shift. No shifting means no DCT shifting advantage or a DCT can’t shift

people are going to beat you up for this but I agree for a small fun car it’s better with the top down. Feeling the wind and hearing the engine note that much clearer. Something about wind in your hair that always makes it seem faster and that has to say something about the overall experience.

Actually it makes the case for a manual. If you don’t need to shift so much then the fast shifting DCT loses it’s advantage.

Personally I like the 911 better because to me it just has tons more grip. I find mid-engine cars to be twitchy their “lowar polar moment” makes it easy for them to get bent outta shape. I show you video of me screwing up a heel+toe in a cayman R and it getting squirrely. That has never happened on any 911 I’ve ever

I’d like to think I’m representing german exotic.

Then you’d love MY german eoxtic then...you know reaction from kids and all :)

you must not invest.....I have a 17% yearly return for every 100k I have that thinks otherwise.

I’m aware of the mezger issues. I have a 2011 GT3RS. We can talk about what issues there CAN be. I’m talking issues that manifest itself that really need to be worried about unless you just want to nitpick every single thing that possibly could happen. To me that’s like being afraid to leave your house because you

honestly the z06 is a car that I looked at amongst others but the sole purpose was to go to the track and not just have a fast car. Which is why I ultimately went with the RS because it has everything you need for the track right out of the box wrapped with a warranty. Fully customizable race suspension, Roll bar,

hahahah....Hey we’re cool... I love the back in forth with corvette guys. I run with them at the track so I’m always fodder for them when I show up till they get past by me. I guess you’re on your way to becoming a millionaire with your whole $100 saved yearly. If you are a finance guy how can you say my 140/200k/60k

You must really not be fun at parties especially the ones where you can’t understand when someone is on your side.........Some how I see people having to explain themselves to you a lot. So here goes....

Sorry I was typing so fast I had some typo’s. Non rare Porsche’s have the depreciate then appreciate value model. See 964, 993’s for instance, those aren’t rare models. SUV’s are just a money maker so they can continue to go racing and make GT3’s so they don’t count unless we want to go through all fords products and

Why is everyone bitching about the automatic with all the Paddle shift lovers around here. If anything it’s faster because of it.

The coolant thing is the only issue and that’s it. This is the mezger engine.

Hey what’s that about lipstick needs to go :) Most people only see it briefly as their getting passed.

you’re right sorry
