So you basically want one like this....https://www.flickr.com/photos/rj20fiv… I feel like you can tell immediately who tracks theirs just by looking at the rotors. I mean I could spend 5k each on rotors buy why. Private track instruction is already expensive as hell.

you know that Ceramic rotors cost 5k each right?....5...thousand...EACH!....or you can go with steels and pay 500 each. Your choice.

be careful about the "huge chunk of cash leftover bit" ...People never forget depreciation but somehow don't understand appreciation. Case in point... I paid 140k for this....https://www.flickr.com/photos/rj20fiv… which is going aroun 200k these days. If I sold this today I would be putting 60k in my pocket so I'm

less money? Don't forget about appreciation.

if its as low as the old one. You need the axle lift to just pull into your garage. I swear I scrape that front clip just driving on a smooth road. Luckily as expensive as everyone would have you beleive the replacement lip is only $200 so I would just forgo the axle lift buy the extra lip(in case you sell) and deal

or get a used GT3

in the same way that you let your child walk in front of you.

They always underestimate. My 997.2 RS can do 3.2 with 450hp but say 4.0 on the brochure so real world probably faster. Also at about 3.2 we are hitting a wall for sure. Even cars like the new Z06 corvette only does 3.2s and it has 150+more hp and torque than this 991.

You sound like more of a fanboi because you refuse to accept the facts that they don't want to go against the porsche. I don't care which one is fastest but if you build a flagship car and then refuse to race it against it rivals even going as far as to, as Jeremy stated, Black ball any customer who has a La Ferrari

This is true. The RS needs a shift light. I can't stand when people say you can hear it. That's bullshit!! When the revs hit 4g especially in sport mode with the flaps open the exhaust gets loud as hell and I get 4.5g more to hit red line. I can tell the change from say 4g and 6g but I don't know that I'm at 6g and

This is actually not true. There are 991 GT3's sitting on lots going for less or the same as a 997.2 GT3 RS currently is now. It's not availability. I could have easily bought a 991 GT3 when I was looking for my RS, they were out there all day and in some cases cheaper. This happened because the market spoke and

That is true but I would say the technology that most defines us is WITHOUT A DOUBT...... "Automated shift transmissions". In fact I would say its the ONLY technology that defines us. The only thing people care about these days are horsepower and Paddle shifting. You can't really say horsepower is a technology

The point i'm making is that 911's take on cars with MORE POWER all the time. In fact name a car that the 911 takes on that has LESS power than it and has been doing so for over 60 years??? As an example the 997.2 GT3RS can do 0-60 in 3.2s... The new z06(manual) does 0-60 in 3.2s with 200+ more hp and tq. Every GT3

People will actively seek out and pay more for a car with PCCBs

how come 911's can take on faster cars with more hp and tq for the last 60 years but the cayman always has to have more power to be as good as a 911??

Now playing

Slower???? and we haven't even got to GT2's and GT2RS yet.

then you should want the porsche.
