Excellent list!

I guess I shouldn't have included the #rant tag at the end of this :P

Studies haven't proven anything about me. They've proven drivers of my 'age group' are a higher risk for causing/being-in accidents. I'm less than a year from the 'omg, you're 25 and have miraculously learned to drive, let's give you a discount on insurance' group.

EXACTLY! If only it were true...

I personally hate talking on the phone in general. But when I do, I'd almost prefer it be while I'm in the car. Sure, I know it's a distraction, but it's equally distracting from anything else in life. Driving to me is boring, so why not kill boring time with something useful like talking? Screw the 'safety hazard' of

I love the flash that comes with NEW electronics, but I'm a sucker for savings... So 9 times out of 10, I'm buying an older/off brand

This is yet another reason why I love you LifeHacker. And by you, of course I mean it in a plural sense. Your writers are awesome, and you always have nice things to give out for free ^_^

Thanks for the invite LH! ^_^

Normally this sort of thing would piss me off, and the very principal that they are 'hiding' a second inbox without properly informing it's users of it being there is down right dumb. BUT - Upon opening my 'hidden' inbox shortly after reading this article, I found two messages from my ex-girlfriend's mom... LMFAO! I

Sounds like the formula to a perfect scam. Get everyone to play your slot games. Then if anyone wins, claim it to be a software glitch.

Introducing Derelict TWO! The INDESTRUCTIBLE trashy look ;)

Good point :-P

That makes sense. And I definitely agree with protection being more important over speed.

Excellent, I appreciate the response. I'll definitely look into it when I finally get my Android. I too hate the fact that FB is a huge race for 'popularity' and advertising... So it'll be a nice change of pace to interact with JUST my friends :P

As if the world didn't have enough of these damn things... Anyone have a good insight on their privacy policies about personal data and selling it to outside companies? I'd hate to have another Privacy epidemic like Facebook's had...

Been using the trial for a little bit now. Can't say one way or another how great the actual connection speeds are (I'm currently on a pretty poor ISP connection here at work, so speeds are pretty poor already) but I really haven't seen a noticeable loss thus far. I'll have to wait and see how well it works on my

Couldn't you just add a second lens to correct the flipped image? I mean... I know the purpose to this DIY is simplicity and cost effectiveness, but seriously, I wouldn't think it would be too much more difficult to correct the flipped image.

Thanks! I'll give it a shot

Good point. I had not educated myself on the true privacy levels provided by them. Guess it's a good thing my first month with them just expired :P Any personal recommendations?

Already tried BTGuard. Was far from impressed... Sure, my IP was anonymized, but the connection speed dropped tremendously... And considering I have Road Runner lightning (40Mbps) I expect superior speeds...
