(Just getting around to binging this season now) Yeah about Lt. Evans, there was a point in the episode where she seemed to start to show sympathy for Fitz, and really thought they could be going somewhere interesting with her- since the show has sort of had a thing for having what seemed like random guest stars at

I genuinly don’t know what you mean. Tommy Wiseau getting paid to do silly Youtube videos equals him moving up because....there’s stupid people in the White House?

I mean, is getting invited by random websites to make silly youtube videos really going “upward” ?

I had really liked the idea people of had of Lyanna Mormont from GOT for the role- but Keene certainly makes sense.

I was pretty young when I read this book, the only detail I remeber is the weird sightless aliens who took care of the main character for a little while. Are they in this movie?

I’m not generally opposed to looking at the white privilege angle of things, but I think bringing that into this is a bit of a stretch. Steve Harvey also got invited back to Miss Universe.

Clearly all oscar ceremonies blur together in my memory because I could have sworn the tour bus bit was an Ellen thing.

I’d been thinking recently- with how long Gerwig’s original screenplay apparently was and how much below the surface there seem to be going on with a lot of the supporting characters in the film- that Lady Bird could have been as a miniseries or maybe a longer running series depending on how much more Gerwig had in

That sort of sounds like it would be Wonder Woman’s equivalent to the storyline of the Black Panther movie- which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

I was under the impression the plagiarism stuff had already been discussed and let go off by the accusing parties? But anyway I never would have considered SoW a factor in the screenplay race in the first place, it’s clearly more of a visual marvel than a piece of great writing and not the kind of movie that really

I feel like I have this exact same disagreement somewhere on here before, but in general- it feels like it would sillier to try to pretend that we don’t all know your average blockbuster superhero movie isn’t going to end with the superhero losing to the bad guys. These movies are about having a fun ride, not about

While skimming your comment I had a few seconds there where I was entirely convinced Denzel Whitaker was a typo and you meant Washington, and that you had just spoiled the most awesome surprise cameo ever. (Obviously, I then realized how little sense it made for Denzel to play the young Forest).

Facebook ‘s video playing sucks- I really don’t see how it could be functional for a full-length tv show

Well, I laughed at your reply.

This article is specifically framed around AC, but its critique is of Netflix in general, not a plea for more eyeballs on this one show

I think SOW and Billboards will both be fairly polarizing among Voters- SOW because of many’s issues with genre, Billboards because of its questionable approach to race....right now I think would narrowly call it for SOW because of the PGA win, but I wouldn’t be surprised by either.

“after turning the show’s first season in $30 million over budget, and repeatedly asking for yet more funds for its second.”

This remains an infuriating argument because it acts if Dumbledore being gay is something they would have to shoehorn into the plot- his ex is literally the title villain of the movie. it frankly seems more like you’d have to actively avoid ever having that kind of history between major characters in your film come up.

The Harris idea was sweet as a tribute to R.H. but- this news aside- I’m pretty sold on Jude Law from the released image and I do think he works better with this concept of Dumbledore, the hot young radical Hogwarts professor- which a much more interesting angle than how I imagine Harris would play the character.

I would agree that we need to get better at helping people like this in a way where we can avoid them doing these things in the first place, but there’s something I don’t like about what you’re saying....I guess because there’s an implication in there that the internet should feel guilty and culpable for this death? I
