Now, >that’s< a flattering shot
I bet you could get 3-4 pics of 3 to 5 yo oxide-perforated vehicles on your way home to refute this assertion!
I have much respect for fiber-impregnated plastic after an AvE video prompted further research into to such alchemy. Growing up, plastic meant ‘cheap crap from Japan or Taiwan’, but that is definitely no longer the case
That 2nd paragraph evoked a giggle-snort at the start of a long and likely difficult day. Thanks for that!
The angle of that shot does >not< provide support for your argument to my eye. Almost looks like a fish-eye lens
Someone wanted to live the Gambler 500 lyfe 24/7.
Pre-pack the new sets before the race: inner&outer in one baggie, then the correct amount of grease for that side in another. Then toss both plus a new seal in a quart-sized baggie: there’s 1 wheel ready for quick install.
Agreed. BIL bought one of the packers, but it didn’t fill the cage the way scraping it in my palm does. Nor did it give me the satisfaction the traditional method did.
Haters always gonna.
Damnit, man! I’ll never get all the marinara sauce off my phone
Eh, I used to be quite dismissive of drifting, but I’ve come to believe that >all< gearheads are Jalop. (Safe) hoonage is good. Besides, the drift scene has helped push motorsports innovation, particularly in standalone engine-management, and gotten more young people into cars.
I’m with you. I have admiration and respect for the engineering in hypercars, and find parts of them beautiful. But I don’t really have the skill to push them properly if I’m being honest, so I can’t really relate to them. Frankly, I’d rather rent a 2CV for the afternoon than a hypercar. Bet I’d laugh more-and any…
I bet it was a blast! The stats don’t convey how visceral the experience is in these cars. Yes, they have hardly any power, but they’re so tight & taut and responsive that you can't help but giggle driving one.
Having been the caretaker of a ‘58 Morris 1000 for several years, you have my utmost respect. And envy-but the good kind: I wish >I< had been on that track myself, but I’m damn glad to reply to someone who was.
Yes, it has.
That’s feckin’ awesome.
Close the thread: nobody's gonna top that!
