I’m glad to see this! Even if their efforts don’t lead to any change in this specific instance, it’s something that needs to be done more. I’ve had to stop watching a lot of anime series, even generally acclaimed ones, because a few episodes in there are scenes sexualizing characters that are children.

I think seeing someone get fired for saying sexist or racist things just hits a little too close to home for some people.

To think I went though an “I’m too cool for Pokémon” phase in Gen 3. It didn’t last long, I got hooked again in Gen 4 and have played every one since.

I’ve never rewatched the whole series, though I did love it, but I’ve seen that episode so many times. It’s one of my favorite fight scenes in anything. Most Star Wars fights are all spectacle but this one has so much emotion to it and it’s so methodically shot and paced.

The shiny rate was awful for me too. Only received four including the Ditto. At least one was an Articuno. 

This would have been the dream game of elementary/middle school me. It’s a shame things turned out this way and I’ll be skipping it.
