I’m excited about using a standard controller instead of motion controls, but I hope there’s an option to invert that. I know my brain will instinctively do the opposite.

I hope they fix the game constantly reminding you what an item is and does each time you pick one up the first time each play session. I know what all of these basic items do after playing for hours and collecting dozens of them.

I was 9 when Episode 1 came out and I loved it. But even then I saw these in stores and was super creeped out.

That’s a good point regarding when the gameplay opens up. I even liked the characters in this game and their central struggle. What killed it for me was the game barraging you with proper nouns and then being like “Oh, you don’t know anything about Sanctum? Here, read this codex entry,” instead of providing info

I know I’m definitely in the minority here, but appreciate how linear XIII was. I prefer an entirely linear experience to a more open game with uninteresting side quests bogging it down (looking at you, VII Remake). In my experience, most games tend to focus on quantity over quality in those situations. It’s just too

Almighty Bhunivelze is one of my favorite boss themes from any game, even though I didn’t care for the game itself. It’s just so extra and chaotic yet still manages to be enjoyable to listen to.

Other games just recognize the Skylanders Bowser as a general Bowser amiibo where there’s no specific gameplay bonus for certain variations. I would imagine this is the same.

I watched WB Kids religiously on Saturday mornings and forgot about this show until right now. Even still, I don’t recall anything about it other than that it existed.

I was wondering if there was a typo or something there at first. But then there were other contradictions that made it clear the guy is just full of shit.

It’s not worse, but is disingenuous to say it isn’t political. I remember a similar article here on Kotaku about CoD: Cold War and the publisher making claims that the game wasn’t political. A game about the Cold War, including some Reagan appearances, is dealing with an inherently political topic. Same situation here.

I’m always disappointed when a Mario game requires me to beat it as Mario to unlock Luigi. Mario Galaxy, despite being one of my favorite games of all time, requires collecting every star as Mario in order to play as Luigi.

I’m surprised the whole “Are Ultra Beasts even Pokémon” question still comes up. The games give a definitive yes, they’re just not native to the world the games take place in.

Which might help make watching this movie and eating this food a little more bearable. Probably not enough though.

This is because of the trend of people on YouTube and TikTok opening retro boxes and packs. It’s caused people to buy up everything and scalp it, even things that will never be worth anything. None of the stores near me even have theme decks and those make no sense to buy up. And most of the cards from the current

Why do you assume she’ll regret it? That’s mighty presumptuous. I have tattoos and I’m pretty sure when I’m 70 and saggy I won’t give a fuck what they look like because I’m already old and wrinkled anyway.

I have the same concern. I love tattoos and video games, but don’t want to combine them. I haven’t gotten tattoos related to any specific media that I like, not just games. Those things will still continue being made by people who can potentially disappoint me in the future and I don’t want to end up with a permanent

Can we stop with the phrase “catering to”? You make it sound like being asked to not do/say/write racist things is some huge ask. If you’re a decent person, it should be extremely easy! And as others have pointed out, people aren’t more offended these days. It’s just people who don’t care what these marginalized

They weren’t just killed off, but the character who did so faced no consequences. Even after everyone figured out they did it. That person’s life was of so little value to the “heroes” of the story that they barely react to the murder revelation. And the show treated all its LGBTQ characters poorly. They all end up

A lot of the games I enjoyed growing up are still generally fun, but they all have a “that part”. It’s the part in the game where all the good stuff grinds to a halt and it becomes awful. Like a particular level, boss, etc. Almost all the games I remember fondly and go back to play have this but the good memories of

Sw/Sh are the first time in the series I completed the Pokédex. There are also Pokémon that only show up under certain weather conditions, so if it’s not raining anywhere you just have to wait for those rain Pokémon. I really wish you could use a weather-changing move in battle and it carry over to the overworld.
