I could never bring myself to finish MM on N64. The QoL improvements added to the 3DS version made it so much more enjoyable to play.

I did not know that last part! Thanks for the info.
I share this frustration. The combination of old Nintendo games being pricy and Nintendo not really caring about preserving their library makes it tough to go back and revisit old favorites or classic games I missed the first time around. I would love to play Thousand Year Door for the first time, but last I checked a…
I’m glad to see this! Even if their efforts don’t lead to any change in this specific instance, it’s something that needs to be done more. I’ve had to stop watching a lot of anime series, even generally acclaimed ones, because a few episodes in there are scenes sexualizing characters that are children.
I think seeing someone get fired for saying sexist or racist things just hits a little too close to home for some people.
I had not considered the being open all year round thing. That’s a good point.
Support for Bluetooth headsets would be nice.
Why are theme parks usually a Florida thing? Do people actually like going to Florida?
Sometimes I’ll preorder if I’m already interested and it comes with a neat little bonus. Pokémon used to do this frequently. Platinum came with a cool Giratina figure, for example. But the series hasn’t done that sort of thing in a long while.

To think I went though an “I’m too cool for Pokémon” phase in Gen 3. It didn’t last long, I got hooked again in Gen 4 and have played every one since.
Cyndaquil has his fire back in the Legends trailer, so there’s hope!
Of course it’s biased! This is an opinion piece. The whole point of the article is how Ash felt about the Pokémon announcement. There’s no way to write an article like that without bias. Might I suggest taking some time and doing some inward reflection to figure out why you react in such a vile, extreme way to people…
I hope I’m misinterpreting your comment. You don’t actually think he said this, right?
The shiny rate was awful for me too. Only received four including the Ditto. At least one was an Articuno.
This would have been the dream game of elementary/middle school me. It’s a shame things turned out this way and I’ll be skipping it.
Thank you for your sacrifice. I saw one of these at Target a few weeks ago and thought “Huh. Maybe? Just for the hell of it?” Not all at once, of course. I’m glad I didn’t do it.
I’m excited about using a standard controller instead of motion controls, but I hope there’s an option to invert that. I know my brain will instinctively do the opposite.
I hope they fix the game constantly reminding you what an item is and does each time you pick one up the first time each play session. I know what all of these basic items do after playing for hours and collecting dozens of them.
That’s a good point regarding when the gameplay opens up. I even liked the characters in this game and their central struggle. What killed it for me was the game barraging you with proper nouns and then being like “Oh, you don’t know anything about Sanctum? Here, read this codex entry,” instead of providing info…
I know I’m definitely in the minority here, but appreciate how linear XIII was. I prefer an entirely linear experience to a more open game with uninteresting side quests bogging it down (looking at you, VII Remake). In my experience, most games tend to focus on quantity over quality in those situations. It’s just too…
