I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. Every little bit helps, except when it won’t because why? Because you say so?

Nowhere in that sentence does it say anything about Lewis not doing enough to prove that he cares about the issue.

It doesn’t seem like we’re in disagreement then.

Since you’re so trigger-happy with your quotes, show me a quote where I‘ve stated that Lewis hasn’t done enough to prove that he really cares about this issue. While you’re at it, show me a quote where I stated that he should just shut up and dribble.

I’d love for F1 to be more inclusive, but F1, despite its claims over the years of supposedly being an international sports series, is still decidedly European. Naturally, it will be dominated by Europeans for the most part.

And what situation exactly would that be that you’re referring to?

Lewis is advocating for more diversity and he has the financial means and the connections to do something about it. Why should Lewis be exempt from having to back up what he preaches?

“...but why should the burden of fixing F1’s diversity problem fall to Lewis?” Are you seriously asking that question? Lewis has benefitted greatly from F1. He’s as much a part of F1 today as anyone else you’d care to mention.

To the upset people replying to whom I can’t respond to yet until your comment is approved: Again, you need MONEY to make it to F1 and even more MONEY to make it in F1. In case you guys didn’t know (and this may come as a shock to some of you I’m sure): Talk is cheap.

The framework is all good and well, but how about Hamilton leads by example instead? Lewis Hamilton is by now a multi-millionaire who has the means to give a young black African racing talent the same opportunities he was given by Ron Dennis. What’s stopping Hamilton from sponsoring an aspiring black African racing

The problem with this franchise is it’s the same game dressed differently each year.

Ferdinand Piëch rich? Sure, he was. Old? No doubt. Dumb? I take it that was tongue-in-cheek.

I think Vettel is extremely fast with a car that meets his very specific driving style. When the coanda exhaust and Renault V10 worked in effectively perfect harmony, Vettel was nigh untouchable.

I remember being quite smitten with that 2001 concept. Looked very Bauhaus, but a Japanese version of Bauhaus if that makes sense (also not sure if that statement can be construed as racist these days, but what the heck).

Alfa Romeo 8C.

Yeah no the slideshows are a bit shit isn’t it

Here’s where the waters get muddy to me:
- Hatchback

Is the front-end more or less palatable in person than the non-M 4 Series versions?

Vettel, I think, had the perfect driving style for the RedBull blown diffuser and the Renault V8 engine of the early 2010s. With his particular driving style, the RedBull’s particular behavior around corners, and the Renault V8's particular characteristics, Vettel was nigh untouchable.

Very good way to describe it, a friendly tennis match.
