All contracts are voted on by the local workers. The union does nothing but negotiate. Just how a lawyer might negotiate.

So according to you the lesson is, the workers who got taken advantage of are supposed to side with the people who willingly and intentionally took advantage of them by bribing their leadership and give those people more direct power over their lives? The guys who intentionally used illegal bribes to screw them over.

See, my money is on a fake transcript.

sure, but Peanut Butter Snickers beats everything else out if we are bringing in variants.

M&M’s are garbage.

$28 an hour rounds out to $58,240 which is in the bottom 25% of computer science salaries. Making less than that is just. Let alone 20 years experience which SHOULD make you a senior software developer who shouldn’t be paid any less than ~75K. I’m not sure if you aren’t looking or are exceptionally unwilling to

Eh, I’ve found it the opposite actually. For example I know people in Wisconsin and Iowa who are making over 100K with only 2 years experience. Those kind of places pay BETTER because they are desperate to keep talent.

People who dogfight often also get emotionally attached to their dogs and get sad when they die. People can be mad hypocritical. What can you say.

Look at their yearly profits and reconsider your position.

Dude, you are getting fucking ripped off if you are making less than $28 an hour with 20 years experience. Plenty of places start you out of the gate at $26+

Things that were the norm before unions.

Plus, their car reviews are consistently the worst part of this site. They pretty much all boil down too “It’s great!” with a complaint or two about it maybe not offering quite enough for the price.

I say kill horseracing.  Its boring cruel and almost exclusively loved by rich assholes in hats.

Yeah I lived in iowa for a year. It ruled. I mean if you were privileged enough to dedicate a few hours to it.

I lived in Iowa for a year. It’s a bit weirder politically than you would think. Largely because most voters don’t vote on a “Where on the scale is this person compared to me” algorithm.

This reminds me of the giant Cranberry invasion of the 90's. Suddenly every juice had a cranberry variant.

Now playing

It’s like... how much rap does this dude even listen to? The “n-word” is preeeeeeetttttyyyyy prolific unless you are listening to the radio edits and part of some of the most well thought out, artistic and critically acclaimed songs out there.

So, your ignoring the very real point that meat is so cheap only because of subsidies then?

It’s better to get the actual “ground” beyond meat. That’s more like 10 and you get 4 burgers out of it. Plus you can share the burgers based on what kind of burger you are making.

Well that is partially because these stories are frequently occurring with cabs as well. Statistically there isn’t a clear answer to what is safer.
