That seems more like a concern of there WASN’T a strike. The “negotiations are bad because some corrupt asshole took money so tthedeal was less good, therefore workers should dump the union and take worse contracts" is nothing if not creative.

Seems about right. The UAW made quite the few concessions on the basis that they would be temporary and it’s time GM gives those concessions back up.
