Most single parents are moms. The single parents I have met at various back to school nights and PTO meetings have all been women. It isn’t that single dads don’t exists but the proportion is off in that show.

I did like that Maggie never died. I always enjoy a good Maggie gag like her splitting winnings with Bender. They have hinted at a Marge/Flanders pairing in the past but the wall was more upsetting than funny. Showing the ends of their lives was the part of the episode I liked.
