Somehow it escaped them until now that yes—it’s always been about them.

DO NOT comment or ungrey “juan” or “Slider6294" they’re plain trolls who don’t care about actual anaylsis,

Oh shit, they kill of Carrie Ann Moss right away? I was kind of hoping she’d be a tentpole of the series. This is...disappointing.

1. That’s awesome and I’m ecstatic.

Is that Flash Thompson behind them? Are the other faces in the scene from Spider-Man?

Wolverine was heterosexual for his entire history.  He sure wasn’t Bi in ‘97, and only is now because it’s the latest cheap publicity stunt they will retcon the split second the new series is finished. The article above treats Wolverine as heterosexual, so that’s what I’m going with.

If straight people are expected to respect LGBTQ+ sexual orientations, isn’t it fair to ask LGBTQ+ people to respect straight people’s orientation as well?

Recency Bais? Dollhouse, Animal Kingdom, Agents of Shield, Altered Carbon would all come before Severence!! (But then I find that show boring, so maybe I have some biases of my own?)

“In this country, you’re innocent until proven guilty” which is why I pulled a gun on an innocent man until he proved he wasn’t guilty. Flawless victory.

“And everybody knows what’s going on in this country with fentanyl and child trafficking and rape. Terrible stuff.””

Ah yes, those child traffickers who famously return children to their homes safely.

A Kang variant would be my guess.

Have they recast Kang? Or are we just going to wake up and find out that phase was all a dream?

Saw something about Gravity Falls. Clicked the link. Well done. Shame on you.

I can’t even get snarky about the reference to Solo as a “classic.” The man was a huge part of my childhood and is still missed. This will require a couple boxes of tissues.

The Klingons in general are far better on DS9 than TNG, not to mention the Ferengi.

I always found the First Generation, semi-utopian kumbaya theme unralistic, extremely forced, and just plain boring. Deep Space 9 offered a grittier, darker, more exciting, and I would say deeper stories. For this reason, I felt Picard was a bit of a caricature, especially the earlier episodes.

he was always willing to throw that punch

Always preferred DS9 to STNG.

It’s absolutely praiseworthy. If Picard had been in charge of DS9, the Federation would have lost the Dominion War.

Great article. Thanks. I have always liked DS9 and the cast better than some of the other series because they weren’t the swaggering moralistic heroes you could watch over in ST: TNG.
