I moved to Columbia from So Cal a year ago (poor choice). I’ve been continually amazed at the subtle and blatant racism I see every day. Missouri is stuck in the past, even in the most progressive city in the racist state.

I grew up in South Carolina so I think I’ve got a good handle on what does and does not constitute being a slave.
