It’s more sappy and corny, especially towards the end. The difference is that it is nostalgic as well. If you are a big Next Gen/Voyager fan, it may be worth a watch. I found it to be not as good as Discovery personally, but I am a huge Trek fan, so I enjoyed both. I believe Picard could have been much better, though.
