My partner and I absolutely love Psych, but we still frequently joke that none of those investigations would ever hold up in a court of law, which is why the criminal has to confess at the end.

Yeah, but it’s ok if the partner also works for the police, but in the morgue and is also maybe a psychic or a zombie, right? Asking for a friend

Sleepy Hollow was my first thought. Well, after “Oh its this exact fucking formula again.” and “Surely this had to have been done once already.” At least sometimes this formula works and we do get a good show. I just feel like its few and far between.

Nightmare?  Or minor curiosity?

Just the other day, I ordered a handheld game system online, and there was a tip option in the checkout process. The text came across like, “If you enjoy our products, support us in making them better” patronage kinda thing, but still, I was surprised.

Companies should pay their workers a living wage.  Tipping culture is anti-consumer.

That’s some real Geordi falling for Leah Brahms stuff right there.

This is really true. Since the invention of social media, we have been getting closer and closer to what you’re describing.

In the book Alicent is an older Dowager Queen and she’s more obviously a villain. The show made her younger with shades of gray and actual guilt. In the book the Hightowers are scheming for the crown and willing to kill/go to war immediately.

He’s kinda good at everything because he’s a super-fast learner. He’s also undetectable by tech because of his nanotech mask/suit, so security cameras, radar, motion sensors, etc. In the comics, his super genius tech company is owned by Wayne Enterprises, so he & Batman have a bit of a rivalry. Oh, and he’s an Olympic

He one of those world breaking inventor heroes. He has these “techballs” that can do amazing things and effectively generate free energy. If he mass produced them and gave them to the general public we’d be living in utopia, but for some reason he keeps the tech to himself so he can play hero.

He doesn’t really have powers. He’s basically a genius and a former Olympic athlete with a thing for the letter T.

I don’t think he’s a powered hero, actually. He’s a former Olympic decathlete who’s also a genius and one of the smartest people on the planet.

I agree the show hasn’t set up Team Green as the “good guys,” especially given how Aegon’s sins and potential as a ruler compared to Rhaenyra’s in season 1. Which is an interesting choice, because I think there’s a good argument to be made for Team Green.

Aegon was most definitely grieving over his dead son. If anything, the show took great pains to show that Aegon has surprising layers to him. Yes, he’s impetuous, ill tempered and a brat, but he also loves his children and seems to have actual engagement in ruling - albeit in his own way.

It’s interesting because he

It looks fun, which is what a good video game needs to be. As much as I love BotW and TotK, there’s something to be said for old-school top-down Zelda.

Maybe that’s just what it FELT like to him, but in reality it was much more important to the underworld ecosystem than it would appear to a sheltered teenager?

Rome occupied a huge portion of that part of the planet.  People came from all around, some were granted Roman citizenship.  They assimilated, just like today.

Fen Phen was basically just a stimulant. Everybody knows (especially in the 90's, everybody knew) that cocaine and nicotine suppressed appetite and helped people stay thin.  Nobody thought those were good for you.
