The funny one I saw was complaining that Biden’s infrastructure bill did nothing to keep this from happening, like all the money in the world was gonna reinforce a bridge against a damn cargo ship running into it.

For his part, he’s made it clear that he just likes what he does and has said something to the effect of “if you ask me to be in your movie, and I have space in my schedule, I will do it”. Doesn’t seem to be so much that it’s a money grab for him. I guess it’s not too dissimilar to what you’re saying but it feels like

I think part of it is for her and others like her is that she was getting all this praise from the very vocal minority(transphobes will not stop talking about being transphobes, look at JR Rowling who had made it her entire identity) and seems to have thought that they representing a lot more people than they were. So

It’s gonna be interesting to see how that gets handled in the upcoming season. Some have talked about a time jump to account for the fact that all the kids are in their twenties now but still playing 15 as of the last season. But that’s hard because it ended on a cliffhanger so presumably picks up right after, otherwis

The first one was entertaining if a bit forgettable, the second one was bad. Neither set the box office on fire. It’s mystifying how more of these are being approved at the studio level. I guess they are fairly cheap to make though(the second one only had a budget of $28M) so it’s not a huge risk.

I think it might just be poorly leveled rope lights?

Which claim? That it’s not faster? During CES the line was ~10 minutes, then another five minutes or so in the car traveling around a mile from one end of the convention center to the other. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk a mile.

I rode in it during CES last year and while it was faster than walking, it wasn’t a huge difference. Certainly not worth the astronomical construction price and hilarious delays for what is essentially a less efficient monorail line. That itself is pretty funny because the monorail line already goes to the convention

Without spoilers, I think you could probably pick up a lot of it through context, and I’m sure there will be a recap to get everyone up to speed, but the ending of Gen V season 1 ties directly into The Boys season 4. It’s not at all clear if Gen V characters will be in The Boys though(I’d expect cameos but probably

I thought they were mostly fine. Kevin Hart is certainly not my first choice to play a character who is basically the only fully serious person in the entire game but the rest seem ok.

I don’t know that Carmy is totally to blame but I definitely agree that it wasn’t Claire’s fault. Everyone on that show except for her expects Carmy to spend 100% of the time on the restaurant. Towards the end of the season Sydney gets mad at him for daring to attempt to have a personal life, basically pre-blaming him

Apparently the latest is that he’s trying to get on the Libertarian ticket since they are on the ballot in most states. That said, he’s not really a Libertarian beyond his antivax views so it’s not a sure thing.

As someone who recently rewatched some SeaQuest DSV, I urge you to let live in splendor in your memory.

I was a little skeptical about Indiana Jones but it actually looks pretty cool. Maybe a big more whip-heavy than I would have liked(he doesn’t use it all that much to fight from what I remember) but it seems to set the right tone based on what little we see of actual game play.

There should be a limit to the number actors from the same show in each category. Best supporting actor had eight people representing only two shows? They’re great shows but that seems pretty silly.

I know it’s just a toy for rich people and all but this thing only has 20 miles of range for $190k?

I’d never really heard that warm whether was all that impactful. My Model 3 seems to do fine when it’s warm. For me it’s when it gets cold that it starts to suffer. My commute is 47 miles each way and in 70 degree weather it uses pretty close to that much range but yesterday it ate about 55 miles of range each way

“We had no idea 88 was a well known Neo Nazi dog whistle!” I guess at least they do say they are open to changing the name.

Some adblockers(uBlock origin, for instance) don’t like Amazon affiliate links but rather than stripping out the link part, it just deletes the words entirely. It’s a weird system.
