I would think that if foreign powers had these weapons, they wouldn’t just use it willy nilly. And for testing purposes, I would assume there are better ways to test this weapon discreetly.

It’s pretty easy to detect microwave radiation with a spectrum analyzer and a laptop. I have considerable doubts that’s what it is.
I thought their solution to the power grid problems was to ban abortions and then use all the extra babies for a Matrix-like human battery farm.
“Pokimane hasn’t been a Twitch angel either,”...I think the copyright murky behavior that twitch acted on is fine to mention, but would’ve been better off just stated rather than using any transition that implied equivalency
Well that would explain why Kotick hasn’t gone juuuust yet (no doubt will get a massive percentage of the price) and why Phil is so diplomatic about the answers he gave about behaviours at the place.
Maybe, but you still remove the original tumor. You sure as shit don’t just leave it there to continue metastasizing. There’s no path to wellness that doesn’t involve excision of the original source of the infection.
God help me I always enjoyed Carrey in this. I actually think it’s Tommy Lee Jones who was bad - he was badly miscast and/or badly used. Two-Face in this movie either needed to be the straight man to the Riddler or be manic in a different way. Instead TLJ keeps trying to match Carrey’s energy, and it’s sometimes…
Proportion in that era of art is often a bit of an issue.
Other sections of the Bayeux Tapestry show people as tall as the castles they’re standing in or attacking.
Wait so they are just remastering thier old songs?
Ellen McLain, the voice of GLaDOS? Sure!
Right? Ten years ago I was so tired of listening to Halo pro players whine about how the game should cater to them. At this point I am so over it.
“the team of scientists allege that the current planetary classification system is based more on outdated astrological (read: pseudoscientific) terminologies, and should be updated to reflect the modern age.”
Pretty sure the only thing that is going to make some people happy is if they define a planet as the “things I was taught were planets when I was ten”.
Nice. I was in the Navy too when it came out on the USS Truman and we had a xbox setup in the CAG seat shop and would play it for hours a day. Great time waster while deployed.
Way back when Halo 2 first came out, I was in the Navy, and there was a guy on the ship who spent every bit of his free time playing it. Myself and various other people would occasionally challenge him, always 3 against 1. We beat him ONE time. I am in awe of what some of these Halo players can do.
I’ve seen his face described as “perpetually realizing that fart wasn’t just gas”, which I like.
I lost my appetite for a great deal of reality TV when VH1 had to cancel all its dating shows in 2009 because a finalist/likely-winner kidnapped and murdered his ex-wife while the show was still airing. I really thought that all the reality-show execs, across all stations, would have committed to better background…
Can I just say I it slightly annoying that people refer to Neo by his old name? not only because it ignores the themes of the franchise that one should be allowed to forge your own identity outside of what the powers that be force you into, but because the Resurrections makes it explicitly clear that Neo is Lana’s…
Well... I think that it’s incumbent upon the creatives to put talent in the best position to succeed. The character stuff you mentioned certainly isn’t doing her any favors and would be a problem regardless who was delivering the lines, but I’ve come to feel that maybe she just isn’t the right actor for this specific r…
I’m not used to people being helpful on the internet. Thank you.
