Yea, kinda reminds me of a MAGA era Colbert Report-style pastiche but if so he’s so committed to the bit that it’s impossible to tell

I see people post Nick Adams tweets on Reddit periodically and was sure it was intentional parody. The idea that he could possibly be serious about his very insecure sounding complaints is wild.

Totally agree. Apparently they’re adding 30-ish stops across the city in the next few years but near as I can tell they still plan to use Tesla’s as their transit vehicles, which is pretty dumb, slow, and very inefficient compared to a regular subway train.

Apparently Netflix settled out of court. The Doyle estate claims Holmes had no emotional depth until the last few stories, Netflix said you can’t copyright an emotion but paid anyway to make it go away, which is probably all the Doyle estate wanted anyway.

and Disney is likely to still try and litigate it unless a large company with a bankroll does it.

Let’s not forget that the entire city smells like an ashtray thanks to the lack of indoor clean air laws there. Even the swankiest hotels on the strip smell like afterhours at the worst 90s dive bar in town.

Though it is absolutely a very half baked and goofy experience, taking that ride on the loop was much faster than walking from one end of the convention center to the other. I rode it a couple times going to and from meetings and, while it was frequently busy, I don’t think I ever waited more than a minute or two. The

It’s so frustrating that the writers are seemingly unaware that Seven of Nine is a genius level engineer. Several times in both seasons of Picard they are faced with a technical problem and relegate Seven to action hero security guard while Rafi tries to fix the problem.

That was 100% the case for Insurrection, but First Contact felt as much like a movie as any of the TOS movies did.

How many damn interns were they running on that labor costs increased by $50K per month when they started paying them? Was it a dozen interns and that one pretentious chef and that’s it?

I almost bought that the other day mistakenly thinking it was all of the games. It’s a weird ass choice on their part for sure. Must be some kind of technical reasons that make it difficult. Or maybe they just don’t want to spend the money to remaster games so they look as good as the newer ones.

How can you leave us hanging on the name of the game you accidentally bought?

The OG Gawker did go bankrupt after pissing off a celebrity and getting crushed in the courts because of it, so I imagine the remnant that is G/O Media is not excited about the possibility of a repeat.

I spend more time than I should on YouTube but am only familiar with one of these(Vsauce). I know the algorithm makes it so I essentially see an entirely different version of YouTube than the next person but I’d have thought at least a few of the bigger ones would break through, like maybe that Midgley one would get

If the fox had an adorable backpack like the cat did then maybe he’d have had a better chance at winning.

I thought Gadot, while not a great actress, was totally fine as Wonder Woman. But the script she was given in WW84 was so bad no actress could have elevated it all that much.

Don’t you worry about HBO Max, let me worry about blank.

The most bonkers episode of Smallville for my taste came in season one where they put Amy Adams in a fat suit and made the claim that a car accident+kryptonite = cannibal. I guess it doesn’t count for the argument though since this was firmly in the WB days.
