I hadn’t heard of Rogue until just now. I encourage everyone to check out the linked trailer just for the way it suddenly tone shifts from generic military action movie to cgi lioness monster movie about halfway through. I assume the lioness is supposed to be a metaphor for Fox’s character or something but it comes

Let’s hope everyone’s ego was in check for this six-part miniseries event about how Santa Claus would like to retire but can’t.

Pretty much the same, and I only see those Marvel movies in theaters because otherwise they’ll be totally spoiled long before they hit streaming. Big prestige movie from Spielberg? Cool! I’ll see it in five months when I can rent it for ten dollars in the comfort of my own home, watch it on my big fancy tv with a nice

But if we could just get those poor cops one more surplus troop tank, crime would be solved!

The auto loot option for Last of Us Part II was fantastic for me, though it did have the side effect of turning a very serious game into a mild comedy at times. Ellie deep into some depressing monologue while also grabbing everything in sight and stuffing it into her pockets without even breaking her stride.

This was me with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. I was ~50 hours in and thought I must be near the end only to look up where I was in the story and realize I was only like two thirds of the way through. Dropped it down to easy so I could get to the end without it taking all of my limited free time for a month to see how it

I’d bet a huge portion of those layoffs are going to be from customer support. Musk is seemingly proud of Tesla’s complete lack of customer support, with his own Twitter account being more or less the only recourse for Tesla owners experiencing problems with their cars, so I expect him to bring this shitty customer

I also love his take of a new ending where Pratt character would die and Lawrence character would be face with the same dilemma of waking up someone else.

Iris and Barry had the weird distinction of starting as a will they wont they and somehow maintaining that energy well after actually getting married. They never feel like either of them expect this to be a long term thing.

Kumail Nanjiani made a similar post to McElhenney’s after getting jacked for The Eternals. Says upfront his physique would have been impossible without the biggest movie studio in the world footing the bill and setting everything up and working out for a year.

It’s been twenty years since Nick Fury was changed to look like Samuel L Jackson in the comics so tons of people only really know him as black. I’d guess some of it was like you said that Sam Jackson is widely beloved so transcends a lot of that backlash, and was also confined to the Ultimate comics for several years

We just thought they were mad about black elves in Rings of Power. This would be some next level racist rage.

Cold War seemed pretty agressive with the SBMM adjustments. Felt like if you had more than two good games in a row you got upgraded to the next tier up and stomped for the next five games before it moved you back down. I’m not against it as an idea but I think they could stretch out the ramp a little more so it didn’t

I don’t know that the game encourages shooting the people climbing the ladder over the wall as the article says but it’s certainly not punished as it’s unclear in the moment whether these are cartel guys you were just chasing or innocents making the crossing.

Agreed, the exclusion of Rome from the list is bonkers!

Bummed that they cancelled the Game Pass launch release in favor of Steam exclusivity. I’d like to try the game but, given its complexity, am reluctant to spend $50 on it. I got burned pretty bad doing that on Imperator: Rome a few years back. Guess I’ll watch some let’s plays and go from there.

That was exactly what I was thinking of when posting the original comment. And I agree it was pretty great! The story and voice acting especially were a lot of fun. And yep, it lined up pretty perfectly with this, out in October and I bought it for ~$20 during the winter Steam sale. It came to Game Pass two or three

Same! But on the bright side(??) it’s reviewing poorly enough that I wouldn’t be surprised if it was $20 by Christmas(or on Game Pass), so at least it would be too big of a purchase for a so-so game.

We both know the only proper take on the character was when he had inexplicable electricity powers. I’d also accept the brief period when he could shoot tiny clones of himself out of his hand.

I kind of thought Alicent’s wishy-washy tendencies were intentional. She’d spent the last twenty years or so married to one of the most conflict averse kings to ever sit the iron throne so it makes a little sense some of that would rub off on her.
