my wife’s family is nowhere near I-94. the nearest high speed charger (level 3) is over 90 miles away, and given how cold it gets in ND, electric cars are going to have a hard time there regardless.
did you not read my post? it could be 2 hours a weekend easily, 10 times a year. all it would take is having to wait for access to the one and only charger at the typical NY rest stop and the “30 minute charge” becomes an hour.
