I never drive _to_ the gas station.  I stop at one of the 10 that are directly on my commute route once every week and a half, spend 4 minutes gassing up and continue on my way.  total time dealing with fueling is still less than having to plug the car in every night.

I get that my use case is somewhat off nominal, particularly in the northeast where I live. but go west young man. a weekly 400 mile drive out there is not uncommon.

yup, and when chargers are as ubiquitous as gas pumps, and you can rely on getting one of these unicorn high speed chargers, then I will be the first to get one.

meh, Hamilton should have been DQ’d from silverstone last year and Merc abused the engine rules by bringing 7 extra engines (cost cap much?) in the last 5 races between Ham and Bot for explicit performance advantage, not due to engine failure. Merc also had extremely bendy front wings which for some reason regulators…
