pretty sure that’s a lambo, dude.

it is an urban assault vehicle with ginormous heavy duty steel bumpers.  you simply push your way in.

a friend on mine just bought a new Silverado to replace his old one.

his old one was a 2010 or so.. he bought “the same” version - mid trim extra cab 4 wheel drive.

I had a buddy with one of these (must have been a 75 I guess because it had the 500) that we called the Urban Assault Vehicle.

sooo many shenanigans.

it was NBC Dateline with the gm saddle tanks, not 60 minutes:

I am sure this will be a perfectly fine car, maybe even good. but it is double blasphemy to use both the Mustang and Mach branding on this... this... thing.

whatever the failings of the MustangII (which would have actually been pretty fucking awesome if the engines of those years were not garbage) that can’t be used as

1971 Sedan DeVille with the 500 cube v8

but does it have side airbags? (which seems to be the gripe about the Ka)

point is, this car is absurdly safe compared to any car built before ~2005 and about as safe as any other current car in its size class.

depends a lot on what airplane you are talking about - the new ones with carbon fiber wings like the 787 and A350 yes.  737 not so much.  it is plenty strong (tested to over 150% max flight loads) but not as flexible as the newer composite wings

a fully loaded 737 is on the order of 140,000 lbs and flies through the air at about 575 mph.

I bet the passengers in this car do better in all of these crashes than they would in _any_ of David Tracy’s environmental nightmare rustbucket jeeps.

he is a lyft/uber driver. clearly he is not the sharpest tool in the shed, because even 10 minutes of research makes it clear that both companies are a massive grift (as is the whole “Gig Economy”) and you can make more money doing just about anything else.

combine that with a fundamental (and really dumb)

wow torch, I actually threw up a little when I saw your photoshop at the bottom.

seriously, do not get a job as a car designer.

the IRS rate has nothing to do with how much money you actually made. it has to do with how much of your income you can deduct from your taxes as an expense.

the takeaway here, is that while you are a fucking idiot for driving for a rideshare company effectively full time for a net income of ~$18k a year, you are also

if we are talking joy induced loyalty, then Triumph is the BAE. I owned a TR-7 and a Spitfire over the years, and while they were both unreliable cars, I got more joy out of driving them than anything else I have ever owned or driven.

some day I will own another Spitfire.

in wheel aka hub motors, while potentially the most efficient solution due to reduced drivetrain losses, are really a non starter for several reasons.

1: unsprung mass - basically the weight of your wheel, tire and hub assembly (plus 250 HP electric motor in this case) this directly relates to both ride quality and

clearly, you have access to something more sophisticated than MS Paint.

that looks soooooo much better. BMW are you listening?

I expect the SEMA body kit to replicate this in 5... 4... 3...

my scorn is not for Kennedy/Johnson era NASA, my scorn is for Nasa as it is today - a puppet of politics, controlled by the needs of congress to keep funneling money to ULA’s legislated monopoly for dead end and backwards looking programs.
