Same here, the new one looks way too much like a Mazda 3 with that huge open grill / black bar area. I hate that, and much prefer the current gen. However, the sculpted hood looks cool, they could add that and still keep the clean styling.

Love Alpina, definitely a classy, understated and quality tuner IMO. I've seen a couple of their models in person, and they manage to retain a good-as-stock profile while looking more aggressive. Their Z8 was a perfect example, just enough of a tweak to improve upon the original without ruining the overall style.
