and i agree! It just gets under my skin when people are like “stop crying” - we have reason to be upset, and even to literally cry. It’s okay to cry or rage or whatever anyone needs to do, especially if we can channel that outrage into action.

I fail to understand why you can’t be upset and also take action. Talking about how fucked up things are and acknowledging that this situation isn’t normal or okay among like-minded friends doesn’t mean you can’t or won’t also take steps to combat this insanity.

ACTUALLY you can be upset and also still plan to take action. Please don’t tell others how to act or feel.
