Popeyes is overrated and can’t even hold a candle to Bojangles.
Fight me.

This is a nitpick, but...

Like most passes sent his way, Benjamin should just drop this feud.

Beating a spouse: we support coach

i’m so over these Instamodels that only have a career because of social media or their parents. one of the Hadids has the weakest runway walk; they’re interchangeable to me and i don’t remember which one it was.

Boring Hadid never seen Donnie Darko .

Maybe an unpopular take but... my sympathy is kind of falling with the celebrities after reading this for some reason. Their careers are built on an arms race of image editing, with actual armies of people editing their images. It’s not like many of them can “sit it out.” Heck most of them probably don’t even post to

Hear, hear. About all I have to add.

I saw Atomic Blonde a few weeks ago. While I enjoyed seeing Charlize Theron’s pretty outfits and fighting cold war dudes in high heels, it felt like someone just wanted to have Charlize Theron makeout with a chick and kick bad guys in the balls, and loosely wrote a movie around that.

Well, that’s unfortunate. The book is great, and I’m waiting impatiently for the sequels (which have ridiculously long wait lists at the library).

Agreed.

I haven’t read this new book but her last book was too harsh for me. Upper class terriblness, social climbers, gang rape, bullying AND a school shooting?? I felt like she kept punching me in the face.

So...are we done with the Kardashian worship around here? They’re bullshit and any pseudo female empowerment they sell is bullshit and privilege gift wrapped with internalized misogyny and cultural appropriation.

Ever spent any time on RedBubble? There’s a lot of crap (tho not as much as at like CafePress), but there’s also a lot of LEGIT great/cool artwork on there. I mean technically they frown upon doing shit with licensed characters / copyrighted material? But a ton of things sort of skirt around the edges of that, and

Counterpoint: I just got this T-shirt for my birthday and it is awesome.

Couldn’t agree with you more. CBGB was more a T-shirt brand than a culturally relevant club for the last 15 years of its existence. Taking umbrage at this cute little homage is on par with being mad that MTV doesn’t play music.
