Understand your sentiment. Do such cars even need to get out second gear to surpass freeway speed limits? I have a base Cayman w/ sport chrono that zips arounds streets and freeway and handles like a gem. If it had any more acceleration I would spend more time trying to keep speed/acceleration below "kill inattentive

The NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, MLS all have expansion fees - significantly higher than 200 million - in place.

This is a common thing trying to retain the value of the league.

I think the trailer behind the Discovery held an aluminum boat - there’s an outboard motor just lying behind it. It’s astonishing that it just melted away.

If I were Lawrence Stroll, and thank fuck I’m not, I would be on the phone with a George Russell or a Pierre Gasly immediately. Vettel needs a protege, and Stroll isn’t it, chief.

“If it was a bad idea, I wouldn’t recommend it.”

This isn’t as bad as those reverse mortgages. After all, McLaren doesn’t have worry about a serious illness keeping it in  hospital for 30 days, resulting in the loss of the house.

For all those who whine about the cost of enthusiast cars, here’s your chance. Mid-engine, manual, convertible. Put the ECM in a waterproof box and enjoy having a fun and interesting car for the price of a responsible down payment on a new Civic. Bonus if you have the time and resources to part it out if it dies, or

Right, sure, and what I’m saying is that I’ve spent less than 1000 dollars in repairs on my Boxster in the last 5 years. It’s not as expensive as you make it out. Motors don’t just blow up for no reason. These engines are pretty quality, particularly the early 2.5-liters. If you take care of them, they last.

German animals wouldn't think of crossing a road except at a marked crossing.
