I agree with you, but in defense of the 992, the car actually made the big leap in size with the 991 generation, not this one.

After goofing around in the configurator, they were thinking that they could charge extra for a good looking one. The regular one looks pretty bad, but the Sport Design Package actually looks pretty excellent, amazing what a bumper can do.
