My local juggernaut Indian casino is charging $25! cover to get in and watch the fight. I think hold about 1,500 in their showroom where they are televising the fight.

The $32 figure also presumes the bar owner gives a shit about fire code limits. They seem ridiculously low, and routinely ignored, around here.
I worked at a bar that was sued by Don King back in the ‘90s. They showed a random PPV fight on an otherwise slow night the off chance that it would drum up some business and they didn’t even promote it but they were charging a $5 cover. Don King took them for $50K.

It’d be nice if they would, but they won’t. These outrage-fetishizing asshats make it embarrassing to be a liberal. Reading the comment threads here lately have been like watching Fox News through a fun house mirror.
Well, I think I speak for everyone when I say that it’s fine if women want to focus on this aspect of La’el Collins’ life. I GET THAT. AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THAT. But at the end of the day, I’m a football fan, and we want to see great players be great and that’s what I’m concerned with.

I don’t think this was a protest so much as a misunderstanding. Slaughter didn’t know any better and thought his helmet was appropriate since UAB has never graduated a player.
