Jersey Mike’s subs are excellent: they bake the bread in house, and they slice the meat to the sandwich rather than letting it sit all day. #13 Original Italian has provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni. Set it up Mike’s Way (LTMO) and add chopped hot cherry peppers. Killer.
I’ve been in the car business 32 years.
Finally, an EOTW that doesn’t involve pooping!
The damage could be anything, but a bad Carfax will kill a car’s value, both at auction and retail. Stuff that used to be insignificant is now a deal breaker. Why buy a car that was in an accident when you can buy this other one that wasn’t? Price will be the only answer. In this case, someone might get a bargain, or…
Carfax on the $15888 Benz:
Man, I dunno. I see a junkyard. A junkyard full of interesting cars, but still a junkyard.
How about us Catholics from the ‘50s: Sister 1, early Nov 51, sister 2, late Aug 52, me Sept 53, Brother 1, March ‘55. Then there’s a 4 year gap, and two sisters 18 months apart. Mom and Dad must have been having one heck of an argument those 4 years.
“They also didn’t work very well from a connectivity point-of-view.”
“whom” instead of “who”. (OK, now I’m being pedantic.)
First thing I thought was the on board internet. I can connect through my phone for free and the connection speed is about 10x what the on board router is; tell me again why I should pay $20 a month for that?
Bad attitude guy. Not happening.
You can get a marker if you’re a minnow, too, but it’s a little bit different. You have to provide them a credit application, of course, but also authorize them to check your bank balances. When we were traveling overseas I wanted a marker so that I wouldn’t have to carry cash internationally; I got one for about half…
DELVAL and LVMOC Miata clubs. I stopped going about 10 years ago though, cataracts were affecting my vision, and by the time I got them taken care of (2011) my reflexes had deteriorated too much.
That’s kinda up to Pam, isn’t it?
I will say that we can find individual Vette owners who are tools. At that track day, there was a guy who had a mid-60s retromod Corvette, and he thought he was hot stuff with his over-engined, underchassis’d high dollar machine. He wound up backward into the wall, and everyone else had a very nice day…
Somewhere I have a photo of my dad lifting the Stanley Cup over his head, after the Penguins won it for the first time. So it’s not like that’s never been done, either.
Actually....
Yeah, but if you ever go and talk to them, they’re pretty nice. They aren’t hoity toity at all. Many of them are regular folks who saved a long time to get their dream car.
Be careful with white pepper, when purchased already ground it goes bad very quickly, and smells like manure.
