I enjoyed Fall of Rome very much, and I’m looking forward to Tides of History. Thanks.
The Quadrifoglio doesn’t lease well because not only is the rate not subvented, but the S tier rate is actually 9.74% for 24 months, and 7.94% for 36 months. Apply that rate to (capitalized cost + residual value) on an $85k car, and the truth appears to be that Alfa doesn’t want to lease Quadrifoglios.
Clean retail, with 62 miles, is $7500.
... Nah, never mind.
The body is there, but you have sex with the person.
Let this be his last battlefield, then.
How do we know that she didn’t roll $5000 of negative equity into that new loan? She should have taken GAP.
Kinda like Kim Jong Un, isn’t it? Perfect spirals, swishing 100 foul shots in a row, beating LeBron one on one. This is getting more and more out of hand.
I’m glad your experience was positive! He can be great when he wants to be I guess. And, maybe he learned something from the backlash to his book.
Then you must not have read his book, where he dumps on literally (yes, literally) everyone. The guy helped build the Pirates’ Shark Tank, one of the best bullpens of the last half dozen years, and they hated him and couldn’t wait to get rid of him when he fell apart in ‘14.
Paint the car right if you’re going to ask for $38k.
You might say he’s the mother of all frackers. A mother fracker.

Yep, I agree. You have to make compromises. I did, and Mrs Mosca did, and our lives have been enriched by it. It’s not that hard, if you take the attitude that 1) Everything will work out, you’ll see, and 2) 60 years from now none of it will matter. Then, when the shit hits the fan and there’s a REAL crisis, you work…
I knew pretty quickly that it was absurd on its face. In our situation, I am comfortable with the choices we made. I thought it would be better for her growing up to go to the same school her friends went to. And, the Catholic schools in our are exceptional. She’s done okay for herself so far.
I agree that it depends on personal experience. I’m pretty laid back and calm, nothing rattles me, two of my favorite expressions are “Everything will work out, you’ll see,” and “Sixty years from now no one will care.” That helps ease over a lot of things. Mrs Mosca and I have been through a lot together. Everything…
If they are wired to believe, they will believe anyhow. If they aren’t, then they won’t, regardless.
That is a good question. We have a daughter. We raised her Catholic, sent her to Catholic schools and she got a scholarship to Notre Dame. After graduating, she went to work with the Holy Cross Fathers in South America. She stayed in South America, teaches English there. We don’t talk about it, but I’m pretty sure she…
