Nope, the aftermarket detracts, I don’t care who did the work.

Love the ECU just sitting in the passenger footwell...If they couldn’t position this critical component properly, what other corners did they cut? ND
So, I worked at an LR/RR/Jag dealership right out of college, and I can tell you they have a shit load of courses and presentations they put you through to teach you to spot suspicious transactions. Contrary to popular belief, most people don’t just plop down cash or checks when they go to buy a car. That should have…
If only that were true. Here in God’s Waiting Room, FL, the Cryptkeepers LOVE the damned things. The bangs and booms are already going and it’s only 2pm!
Yeah, still a right of passage though.
Yeah you say that but that very thing happened to me last year.....being a 53 year old white guy in a redneck town probably helped lol. He called it a fuzz buster lol.
That judge is both a hero and comically lazy.
Next time you get pulled over, try this, not only will it speed the whole stop up, it will lead to an immensely friendlier stop.
I had gastric sleeve surgery 14 years ago and went from 305 to 160 in about 12 months. I could finally buy and wear “cute” clothes and felt “pretty” for the first time in my adult life. What this surgery didn’t fix was binging and as you say “food noise”. I, like you, still overshop and still over plate my meals even…
I have been thinking of talking to my Dr about it. I was always extremely fit and healthy, having played some sports all the way through college. I stayed pretty fit through my first couple corporate jobs but the last 8 years have been brutal to my health and fitness. I was 1 pound from breaking a weight limit i had…
But other noise is gone, too
Beat me to it... If I have the cash to afford (buy + maintain) a $70k Ferrari from the ‘80s, then I’m going to pony up for a newer one. I guess the equation would be different if I were the one doing the wrenching.
If you can afford to own it ... you can also afford to buy a newer, nicer one. So, you would actually have to want THIS Ferrari, not just any Ferrari.
Oh, I agree completely; you have to want THIS one. If you do, then this is the right price, IMO. I also agree with you that these are just so beautiful. Unfortunately for me, the world is full of cars I can afford to buy, but not own!
Is newer “nicer” though? This car has always been one of my bucket list cars TBH, and to me, the design language, the history, just everything about this work. Like, yeah you probably could get a newer one if you could afford to own this one, but they don’t seem to have the soul or something that this one has.
Nice price, but it also raises one of the quirks involved in buying a car like this: if you can afford to own it (not buy it; I can afford to buy it, but not own it), you can also afford to buy a newer, nicer one. So, you would actually have to want THIS Ferrari, not just any Ferrari.
This. My 80 year old mom has one. It’s 4 years old and has 7k miles on it. There are 5 other ones in the parking lot at her assisted living facility. Since most of the residents don’t drive anymore, that’s nearly half of the cars.
Love that she’s so nonchalant about letting it be repo’d. Christ.
... or AC.
Agreed. Slow car fast and all is only fun when you can row your own. Doing 0-60 in 10 seconds in a 3 speed slush box isn’t very appealing.
