I give you the CAT C32 engine, a 32.2 L turbodiesel that generates 1900 hp, 5300 lb-ft of torque, and weighs 3.5 tons. I touched one once. It was glorious.

This. I picked mine up a year and a half ago for under $11k, with about 55k miles on it. The only downside is that it's an '04 so that warranty no longer applies, but I haven't had any issues with it.
I think I understand it well enough to know that changing one tiny word that few people will read from "pressure" to "force" would not have detracted from their message at all. And then it would have been factually correct and made more sense.
I really enjoy being able to have a quick Wankel on my way to and from work every day.
Pounds are a unit of force, not pressure. Someone didn't pay attention in physics class.
I've seen that Qvale Mangusta before! I remember because I went home and had to look up what the hell it was on Wikipedia.
I bought one in December and it is, as you say, phenomenal to drive. While more torque is usually a good thing I know that everyone on here whining about the engine has never driven the car. Formula One cars don't have much in the way of low end torque either, but you never hear people complain that they should stick…
If you buy a $30k sports car and you're worried about the fuel mileage it gets, then you sir are missing the point.
Thanks for pouring out 30-weight oil, because my RX-8 drinks 5W-20 like a fish and I don't need anyone diminishing the supply in memoriam.
@akumadiavolo: Oh god damn it. Could you be any more of an ill-informed hater? You couldn't do five minutes of research before spewing bullshit everywhere?
I know I'm really late on this, but could someone ask him why they didn't hire me at HATCI in Alabama? I thought the interview went really well. If I didn't have another job lined up already I would probably be really upset about that.
@loosethoughts: You can't use automatics in the US either. These are semi-automatic versions of the automatic rifles.
$2,230 A MONTH?!? For a lease? Jeeeesus. I thought $340 a month for financing and insurance on my new-to-me RX-8 seemed like a lot. I can't even imagine what kind of car I could buy with that kind of cash.
This is the one time I am grateful that Gmail made me update my previous password to a more secure one. Facebook on the other hand...well about 50 of my friends now think that I won an iPhone in the mail yesterday and they can do it too!
@tollberg: Damn it. I responded without looking at the non-featured replies. It's been too long, I'm rusty at this.
@Nayrlladnar: Subaru SVX.
@Bumblebee: It's debatable whether crumple zones, side impact door beams, and airbags keep people safer?
6:39 left, but I've done it a few times before. Sporcle is one of my favorite time-wasters, not nearly enough car related quizzes on there though.
@theeastbaykid: Looks like the standard is 17-in according to their website. Still, that car makes them look like the 13's on my old Neon.
