@wkiernan: People who own Ferraris or Lamborghinis don't drive them every day. They take them out on sunny weekends and probably don't go very far. I'm sure the owner of a Mercedes or BMW is much more likely to get in an accident with one.

@Detroit Velvet Smooth: Now with Coilpack recalls!: These are rates for a 40 year old who has never been in an accident or gotten a ticket. I'm sure they would be much higher for most of us.
@conrader: Sadly, the Cavalier isn't an E30. But he could smell like one.
This is a horrible video from Yahoo. They didn't even show the clip of the incident happening. But it's okay, I can totally get the general idea from a picture of a few guys sitting in chairs.
@Lemcott87: Right, because no one anywhere else was working on object-tracking before those two posted that revolutionary video.
@fodder650: I'm going to pretend I never read your comment and go back to believing that Sir Stirling is exclusively writing for Jalopnik, and that he reads all of the comments, and that he likes me as a person and wants to be my friend.
@Autoghost: What? I said nothing about appearances. My point was that I would assume that someone who cares enough about their car to be part of the Owner's Club would know enough to try turning it off or using the emergency brake before calling 911.
@CJinSD: I don't know where it is you're going to work, but they only produce 2-3k of these a year, worldwide. I haven't heard from anyone who has owned one who didn't love it.
@klaud: If you get a chance ask him why he had to pull along side the guy and tell him to use the emergency brake instead of just telling him over the phone when he called 911.
A few things trouble me about this story. First off, he's in California on the highway, and he's stuck at 90 mph with enough time to call the police, wait for them to show up, and give him instructions, but in that time he doesn't hit anyone? Going 90 in a Prius in California? If someone could tell me where such an…
The only crash damage I saw in that WRX spin-out was random doors flying open. That doesn't even make sense. Why would the hatch just randomly open during a spin?
@snapoversteer 'bout to get told: I looked at that one yesterday, the listing says the color is Orange/Black, the dealer's website has a picture of a blue one. I guess it might still be legit and they just used a stock photo.
@conrader: Show me one and I will buy it. Cheapest I've seen one with a clean title is 25k.
@Bartoni: Stanford rejected me as well, but I'm not going to argue with their bashing of Southern. No one outside of this state has heard of it.
I had never heard of these until Ebert started posting about them and made a page full of these videos on his blog. My favorite is the guy in a MINI that pisses one off by stopping to take pictures.
Is your Mugen Honda Civic Type R still for sale what is best price where is it at
@Lou Banjawi: That article wasn't actually quite as bad as I was expecting. Sure he went a little heavy on mentioning his weight, and the fat fucking face line is painfully out of place, but the rest of it isn't so terrible.
This article belongs in something classier than the place where I come to get my daily dose of telestrator dong.
I have a laptop sitting on my coffee table, with a picture of a Ferrari as the background. Where does that put me in this memorabilia pissing contest?
@Tadakun: No you didn't.
