Everyone believes in capitalism till it becomes inconvenient. GM should have been allowed to fail. Then someone could have bought them up, the way capitalism is supposed to work, and continued on as a new concern. There’s no long term benefit to propping up failing companies.

It’s a sign that if you are going to bail out an industry, you should be negotiating concessions in exchange.

And this is why the bailouts were useless. It would have been better if the US/Canadian governments did not bail GM out.

I think the #1 thing to avoid these mistakes is to find someone with manufacturing experience, because manufacturing is harder than it appears. The best racing is close racing. It doesnt have to be faster and faster. Take humans out of the cockpit and I’m done with it.

What about still having drivers.... but not in the car... what about doing what we do with Predator drones and have the pilot/driver in a separate location. Still takes immense skill, but now no driver injuries, and cars can get much faster

Do they sell well? I see virtually none of them, and when I do see an X6, after I’m done pointing and laughing, I usually see the dealer or manufacturer plate.
