Sure, to simulate different shades of grass. Mix it with some powdered adhesive like Weldwood, lay it down and spray it with water with a little bit of soap in it from a spray bottle. Once it dries it looks really nice.

I used to model railroad. I took sawdust and dyed it different shades of green and used it for grass in the scenery.

Pizza on the grill rocks. I throw some cherry wood on the grates. Gives the pizza a delicious Smokey flavor. I’ll even throw on a DiGiorno frozen pizza. Add extra cheese and pepperoni along with some fresh chopped herbs. You’d never know it came out of a box.
