The overly black surround reminds me of the raccoon eye Brazzers girl that gawker used every so often. Would find it but at work, not going to google “brazzers raccoon eye girl”

Every bad design looks better in black or gray. That’s how you know it’s ugly, if it only looks good in those colors you’re lying to yourself, lol.

^THIS!!!... I never loved the “aesthetic cues” of the earlier McLarens either, but this lack of eyes in the “eye sockets” is worse. It leaves the car looking unfinished... like a pro to-type and not in a good way. I actually liked the slats from the spy shots better... less of a gaping hole.  I am somewhat reminded…

Yeah... I am really not digging those headlights. Maybe I will in the future but right now it just looks weird.

To be fair, the headlights are perfectly fine. The design of the housing and bodywork around the headlights are what some people having issues with.

Those renderings are very video game like, as in, not that great. Every picture looks too artificial.
