Does this apply when the fear is that the group attempting to give the speech is feared to be violent? Like, if they have said that they are violent and plan to respond to criticism with violence, is their speech still protected?

Yeah, I agree with that, and I think unions are really important for this and should push for this (and should not be killed by stupid laws like in Wisconsin). I’m not sure that any sort of compulsory profit sharing is a good idea, and also it isn’t likely to happen and may not be feasible.  

Just raise the minimum wage. Those who keep their jobs will not be on the dole, will not qualify for most public assistance, and will actually pay taxes. The few that are priced out of jobs can be taken care of with the savings. You’ve now ended corporate welfare through the labor market.

Get rid of the false start penalty. Keep the rule against two men in motion, but if the lineman flinches, no harm, no foul. That would make it harder for defensive players to get off the ball on the snap. I wouldn’t let teams just intentionally flinch to get the defense to go offsides, but these penalties are stupid…
