Stop, I can only get so erect.

You don’t need a smear campaign to give another one of these cash grabs from Disney a bad review. The movie is ok. Halley is really good in it but everything is is mediocre. The F/X work is also absotlutely terrible. But give Disney credit, they know they can make these live action remakes with a built in fan base…
I’ve been saying this a lot lately, Nintendo needs to go through another Wii U/GameCube period, that’s when they are at their most humble.
At least with torrents there’s a stopgap.

Hm...I like this line of thinking. I’m starting to see some of the aesthetic and tonal parallels between XVI and Vagrant Story, now that you mention it.
Here’s the thing... from the previews, this seems like an Ivalice game in the vein of Vagrant Story. With the arguable exception of FFVII: Remake, I haven’t really enjoyed a new final fantasy since XII, which was 17 years ago. So I’m kind of willing to let the franchise change drastically if there’s hope to create…
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2.
The SNES version runs at a higher resolution and displays more of the area on-screen. The music isn’t as good on the GBA version.
Kind of feels odd to be snarky about a morality system that not only did not make it into the final game, but isn’t much different from any number of other morality systems in gaming.
I don’t like games with a morality “bar”. The whole point is to make choices based on the circumstance. When the game rewards you for picking a choice it removes the whole choice.
The problem is not that a professor doesn’t understand the theory behind LLMs. It’s that he assumed that he DID know that ChatGPT could do something that it can’t do (i.e. accurately tell you if it wrote a sample of text).
Writing a research paper is an exercise in finding sources of relevant information, going through those sources to decide what information is useful, bringing all of that information into a single document, and synthesizing to form new conclusions. Not to mention that it requires the student to act independently. All…
A research paper may not always be a good test of comprehension, but it is a good test of the ability to research, synthesize and articulate information, which are important skills, which arguably are becoming less important with the advent of AI...
You’re free to wrongly dissent. Have at it.
Shocking that a professor has no idea how ChatGPT works!
The Divine Beasts, and also the stamina system added absolutely nothing for me. One of the most dull climbing mechanics since the original AC. I really hated botw top to bottom, but those systems leached any potential for fun for me.
Honestly I’m amazed I’m not seeing this comment/sentiment upvoted higher. FFXIII’s music was technically adept but completely and utterly forgettable. Having listened to some of the pieces in the article I don’t think I’d have remembered which game they were even from.
FF13 is fascinating to me. So much effort went into it. So much time and money spent by some really talented people. The soundtrack, the graphics, the spectacle, it’s all fantastic.
Ehhh. It’s nice music but I never found myself getting ‘into’ it like older games in the series. Honestly the only theme - the ONLY theme - I’ve really enjoyed and has stuck with me beyond my time playing the game has been the FF15 main theme with that absolutely gorgeous piano in the key of E flat (my favorite key,…
